Intervention group: Electrical stimulation of acupoints on both sides of the knee in 10 sessions (3 sessions in the first and second weeks, and 2 sessions in the third and fourth weeks), lasting 5 min

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of osteoarthritis confirmed by a rheumatologist at least 3 months of knee pain average pain score greater than 3 units (VAS scale) during walking

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: knee surgery neurological disease history use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) intra-articular corticosteroid injection in the past six months participation in physiotherapy exercise programs in the past six months

Therapeutic outcomes of knee osteoarthritis. Timepoint: before and after the intervention. Method of measurement: Knee Injuries and Osteoarthritis Outcome Questionnaire.
