Conditions

Major Depressive Disorder. Major depressive disorder, recurrent severe without psychotic features

Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: 16 people aged 18 to 65 years with treatment resistant depressive disorder, have been gotten 0.5 mg per kilogram of body weight dissolved in 50 cc of normal saline.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Major depression based on clinical interview and based on DSM-5 criteria and Hamilton B scale no psychotic feature Blood pressure within normal range

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A history of one or more seizures without an obvious cause, Pregnancy and lactation Patients with clear suicidal thoughts requiring emergency hospitalization No interaction of ketamine with other drugs (memantine, oxycodone, ...) History of drug dependence or abuse in the past three months Serious and unstable physical diseases such as liver, kidney, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular or thyroid diseases

MeasureTime frame
Severity of depression in Hamilton's questionnaire. Timepoint: Depression severity with Hamilton questionnaire before intervention and 1 hour, 1 and 2 weeks, as well as 1 and 2 months after intervention. Method of measurement: Hamilton's questionnaire.
