MeasureTime frame
Number of Candida albicans colonies, groups studied, times studied. Timepoint: After 1 week, all patients will be examined for a second microbiological evaluation (T1) and after 2 weeks for a third microbiological evaluation (T2). Method of measurement: About 1 ml of saliva is poured into sterile containers and using a sampler, 1 ml of saliva is placed directly on Sabouraud dextrose agar medium containing chloramphenicol (50 mg/l). The plates are then kept at 37 degrees for 5 days. Each day, the isolated candidate colonies are examined and counted and the results are recorded in terms of the number of isolated colonies per milliliter (CFU/ml).
