Inclusion criteria: Volunteer over 18 years old Mentally healthy (not requiring a legal guardian) Completion of the consent form

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of pain intensity caused by injection in the palatal and buccal regions adjacent to the maxillary premolars (teeth 4 and 5), with Er,Cr:YSGG laser applied on one side and a sham laser on the other. Timepoint: After laser irradiation in the mentioned areas, the irradiated mucosa will be coated with 2% lidocaine Xylogel topical anesthetic gel. After 15 minutes, an infiltration injection will be administered using a dental syringe with a 27-gauge needle and 2% Persocaine-E anesthetic solution, by a single operator and in a standardized manner (30 seconds for the buccal side and 1 second for the palatal side, at room temperature) on each side of the maxilla. Accordingly, the experiment will be completed for each participant in a single day. Method of measurement: The level of injection pain on both sides will be assessed for each participant using the VAS (Verbal Analogue Scale).
