Intervention 1: Intervention group: Consumers of black garlic, in addition to the routine treatment regimen, take 2 cloves of garlic (weighing approximately 4 to 6 grams) daily with breakfast for 1 mo

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patient over 18 years of age Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) Patient with heart failure under routine treatment for at least 3 months and having a stable condition Patients with a decrease in ejection fraction to values ??less than 50% (severe failure) Not taking complementary or herbal medicines that affect the patient's heart failure Consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) Concomitant hypo- and hyperthyroidism, history of CABG and stenting, arrhythmia, chronic respiratory diseases, chronic renal failure, anemia, chemotherapy, cancer, sleep apnea Allergy or contraindications for the use of fresh garlic or black garlic, such as low blood pressure, a history of heartburn and stomach discomfort, exacerbation of migraines, allergies to garlic, etc Patient's unwillingness to participate in the study Patients taking protease inhibitor antiviral drugs such as ritonavir and atazanavir Compliance less than 80% (based on counting the number of doses taken and remaining garlic) Pregnancy Breastfeeding

MeasureTime frame
Ejection Fraction. Timepoint: Measurement of Ejection Fraction at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and 1 month after starting Black garlic consumption. Method of measurement: Echocardiogram.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pro-Brain natriuretic peptide. Timepoint: Measurement of Pro-Brain natriuretic peptide at the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and 1 month after starting Black garlic consumption. Method of measurement: Blood sample test.
