Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Average age 65 years or older Having upper and lower jaw dentures No severe cognitive impairment (ability to communicate) Using removable upper and lower dentures on a daily basis Absence of infections and local disease in the mouth Avoid using antibiotics and anti fungal medications.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Given that the entire research process is carried out once, those who are not interested in cooperating for any reason will not be included in the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Elderly people's satisfaction with the taste and smell of dentures based on the Likert scale. Timepoint: Satisfaction survey 15 to 20 minutes after the intervention. Method of measurement: 5-point Likert scale (very bad, bad, average, good, very good).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Average number of bacterial colonies. Timepoint: 3 to 5 days after bacterial culture. Method of measurement: Based on visual counting of colonies formed on nutrient agar culture medium.
