Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are candidates for primary open septorhinoplasty surgery whose nasal appearance requires alar base resection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of non-surgical scars in the alar and facial areas Patients who refer for revision rhinoplasty Patient's desire for a natural nasal shape Unilateral widening of the alveolar ridges Presence of rheumatological diseases Postoperative trauma and infection Patient's dissatisfaction with the narrowing of the nasal base

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Interalar to intercanthal ratio before and after surgery. Timepoint: Pictures before and after 6 months of surgery. Method of measurement: The interalar and intercanthal distances are measured with a ruler in millimeters.
