Intervention 1: Intervention group: The intervention group will consume 37 grams of chia seeds dissolved in a glass of lukewarm water, half an hour before breakfast for three days. Intervention 2: C

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consent and interest in participating in the study Age 18-65 years old Having a chest pain score higher than four on the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) Systolic blood pressure within the range of 90-100 mmHg First-time hospitalization Diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome by the treating physician

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having a physical disability or a mental disorder Hearing or vision impairment that prevents proper communication Patient death Having cancer, acute illness, kidney or liver failure Having experienced a recent stressful event

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Chest pain. Timepoint: Evaluation of Chest pain is performed before the intervention and on three consecutive days. Method of measurement: Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) for pain.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Fatigue. Timepoint: Evaluation of fatigue is performed before the intervention and on three consecutive days. Method of measurement: Rotten Fatigue Severity Visual Questionnaire.;Hemodynamic parameters. Timepoint: Evaluation of hemodynamic parameters is performed before the intervention and on three consecutive days. Method of measurement: Pooyandegan Rah-e Salamat coronary care unit monitor of Kowsar Hospital.
