Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Schizophrenia diagnosis based on DSM-V criteria A candidate for electroshock therapy Age above 18 years and less than 65 years Duration of convulsions caused by electroshock less than 25 seconds Having no history of chronic clinical disorders such as heart, liver, kidney and blood pressure diseases No history of cancer Not having a history of alcohol or psychoactive substances No history of caffeine sensitivity male gender Not taking anticonvulsants

MeasureTime frame
Seizure duration. Timepoint: After the start of the intervention. Method of measurement: Checklist of seizure duration caused by electroshock, which is done by the therapist by observing the motor seizure and, if possible, by tying the cuff on the arm.;Psychosis. Timepoint: The end of the treatment period and one month after the initial evaluation. Method of measurement: Questionnaire of Positive and Negative Symptoms of Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders (PNASS).
