Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Receiving 10 ml Dena dent herbal mouthwash twice a day for 14 days. Intervention 2: Control group: receiving 0.2% chlorhexidine mouthwash at the rate of 10 ml twice

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with chronic periodontitis by the dentists Patients' consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of antibiotics or periodontal medications one month prior to the study Having diabetes or any type of systemic disease Pregnancy and breastfeeding Allergies Sensitivity to mouthwashes Smoking Presence of pathological lesions in the oral mucosa Having dental prostheses or orthodontic appliances Having tooth discoloration due to systemic factors History of alcohol consumption in the past 4 months

Interleukin 1 beta. Timepoint: Before the intervention and 14 days after the intervention. Method of measurement: Elisa reader device.
