Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
In this study, Rida's scale is used to evaluate wound healing. which examines the five variables of redness, edema, bruising, wound discharge, and wound edge separation. Each variable receives a score between 0 and 3. Wound healing from the total score of 5 variables obtained from each variable is a number between 0 and 15. The lower the number obtained, the faster the healing of the wound. Timepoint: The first 2 hours after delivery, the third, seventh and tenth days after episiotomy. Method of measurement: Rida scale and visual pain scale.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pain intensity and recovery time. Timepoint: The first two hours after delivery, the third, seventh and tenth days after episiotomy. Method of measurement: In this study, the intensity is calculated based on the numerical pain ruler or visual pain scale (VAS). The pain ruler has eleven numbers, where zero indicates no pain, 1-3 mild pain, 7-4 moderate pain, and 10-8 severe pain. The bigger the resulting number, the greater the pain intensity.
