Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: The intervention group will consume 3 cc of Ardor syrup with 100 cc of warm water 12 and 24 hours before the surgery, then 12 hours after the surgery, it continues

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 65 years Having discopathy that is a candidate for fusion surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of patient consent to participate in the study Rheumatology diseases Trauma patients(Lumbar fractures) No drug addiction(No drug addiction- No drug use in the last 3 weeks) and no alcohol addiction History of taking psychotropic drugs History of psychiatric disease severe asthma History of kidney failure History of taking tricyclic antidepressants History of food allergy and allergy to herbal medicines Severe obesity History of any kind of cancer

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Range of pain after lumbar spinal fusion in discopathy patients. Timepoint: Measuring the range of pain 12, 24, 48 hours and one week after surgery. Method of measurement: Visual Analog Scale(VAS).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The patient's first defecation after surgery. Timepoint: Time interval from the surgery in hours. Method of measurement: Questionnaire.;Overall patient satisfaction. Timepoint: One week after surgery. Method of measurement: Questionnaire, both in form of Likert and numerically out of 100.
