Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Iranian nationality Low-risk primiparous women (no high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid, etc.) Gestational age 37-42 weeks Standard mediolateral episiotomy Newborn weight 2-4 kg Apgar score 8-10 Single pregnancy No fetal abnormalities No mental illnesses (depression, schizophrenia, and addiction) Good vision
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Any obstetric complication or bleeding that requires immediate action nstrumental delivery (forceps and vacuum) Birth of a baby with an Apgar score below 8 or birth complications Injection of more than 5 cc of lidocaine ampule to the patient Failure to inject lidocaine during episiotomy repair in emergency conditions atients who present with full and Kronig dilation Large episiotomy

| Pain intensity and anxiety. Timepoint: The pain intensity scale questionnaire is completed in four. Before starting the repairstages ?during vaginal mucosal repair, during skin repair, and immediately after repair.
