Intervention 1: Intervention group: Implant recipient + acellular dermal matrix (ADM): Primary treatment: DIO (Korea) implants were implanted, followed immediately by an acellular dermal matrix (ADM)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients must have a thin biotype (vertical soft tissue thickness less than 2 mm) Patients should be 6 months post-tooth extraction and initial soft and hard tissue repair.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medical conditions that contraindicate implants A history of periodontitis

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Increased vertical thickness of soft tissue. Timepoint: 3 months after implant surgery (exposing at the time of surgery). Method of measurement: Measurement with a standard periodontal probe.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Surgical success rate. Timepoint: 3 months after surgery. Method of measurement: Re-measurement of vertical soft tissue thickness.
