Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The participant is between 18 and 65 years old. The participant is a native Persian speaker. The participant identifies as Muslim. The participant is literate in reading Persian text.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The patient has been diagnosed with diabetes or prediabetes and has used blood sugar-controlling medications (oral or injectable) within the past 24 hours. The patient has adrenal gland disorders and has used steroid medications (e.g., prednisone) within the past two weeks. The patient has a cardiac disorder and has used antihypertensive medications or drugs affecting heart rate (e.g., beta-blockers or antiarrhythmic drugs) within the past 24 hours. The patient has smoked or consumed alcohol within the 24 hours preceding the day of surgery. The patient has used psychoactive drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, or strong painkillers within the past two weeks. The patient has a hearing impairment in one or both ears. The patient is blind or has severe visual impairment.
