Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age range of 30 to 75 years. Informed consent and willingness to participate in the research. Having mild primary hypertension in Stage 1 (systolic blood pressure between 140-159 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure between 90-99 mmHg) without any history of taking antihypertensive medications.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Allergy to Echium amoenum and Melissa officinalis Suffering from hypothyroidism, severe liver and kidney problems, diabetes, cancer, chronic inflammatory diseases, depression, gastrointestinal diseases such as Crohn's disease, colitis, gastric ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome; being alcohol, cigarette, or drug users; pregnancy and breastfeeding; other severe systemic diseases; history of myocardial infarction and coronary bypass surgery in the past 6 months.
