Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 and 59 years Definite diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder, which is diagnosed by a specialist psychiatrist using the criteria of the revised edition of the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V TR) Before the beginning of the study, they have been treated with SRIs with a fixed and appropriate dose for at least 12 weeks. YBOCS score higher than 13 (as considered as incomplete response or resistance to treatment.)

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy Significant medical illness Diagnosis of psychotic or bipolar disorders Starting or changing the dosage of other psychiatric medication in the last 3 months Patients undergoing psychotherapy
