Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing spinal anesthesia Be in class 1 or 2 physical condition according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists classification. Have no history of known lung disease. Do not have a current drug addiction. Have no history of anxiety disorders, migraine headaches, or impaired sense of smell. Have not taken sedatives or anti-anxiety medications, such as propranolol, within the previous 72 hours Do not have emergency conditions. Have the ability to read and write
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Unwillingness to participate in the study or continue it Emergency cesarean sections Patients with blood pressure problems, preeclampsia Performing other surgeries that are planned simultaneously during the cesarean section Having a history of respiratory disease such as asthma, sinus disorders, or rhinitis Using complementary medicine methods (aromatherapy, etc.) one week before the start of the intervention Patient discharge or cancellation of surgery for any reason Severe postoperative complications such as bleeding and the need for hospitalization in the intensive care unit Having underlying conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease Low cognitive ability Contraindications to spinal anesthesia The patient develops respiratory problems.
