Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged between 20 and 55 years Having experienced voice complaints for more than 3 months Diagnosed with primary Muscle Tension Dysphonia (MTD) based on consensus between a laryngologist and a speech-language pathologist, according to the results of voice history, auditory-perceptual voice evaluation, laryngeal palpation, and videolaryngoscopy Not having received voice therapy or any other voice-related treatment prior to or during the study No upper respiratory tract infection or common cold during the study or within the three weeks preceding it Not being pregnant or breastfeeding No history of neck trauma, surgery, radiotherapy, lesions, scars, excessive fatty tissue, or masses in the head and neck region No addiction to tobacco, narcotics, or alcohol No laryngeal-involving neurological disorders or hearing impairments—based on voice history—that may confound the study results or introduce bias into the assessments.
