Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with impacted third molars in the lower jaw, where the type of impaction is mesioangular in terms of axial angle, and the impaction is symmetrical on both sides

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of trauma, cysts, and tumors in the lower jaw and face History of systemic diseases including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, renal failure, liver failure, and neurological disorders History of chronic corticosteroid use Inherited or acquired coagulation disorders Use of tobacco and alcohol

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pain. Timepoint: 3 and 7 days after surgery. Method of measurement: Visual Analog Scale 10.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Dry socket. Timepoint: 3 days after surgery. Method of measurement: Based on the surgeon's examination and specific symptoms of the disease.;Trismus. Timepoint: 7 days after surgery. Method of measurement: Based on clinical examinations.
