Inclusion criteria: Age range 12-18 years old Female gender Presence of an emotional disorder (depressive or anxiety disorder as defined by DSM-5) Engaging in non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) Informed assent from the adolescent participant Informed consent from the adolescent's parents

Emotion regulation score in the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS). Timepoint: Assessment of Emotion regulation at baseline (pre-intervention), up to one week post-intervention, and at 3-month follow-up. Method of measurement: Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS).;Self-Criticism score in the Levels of Self-Criticism Scale (LOSC). Timepoint: Assessment of Self-criticism at baseline (pre-intervention), up to one week post-intervention, and at 3-month follow-up. Method of measurement: Levels of Self-Criticism Scale (LOSC).;Self-injury score in the Inventory of Statements about Self-injury (ISAS).
