Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of autism according to DSM_5 criteria and diagnosed by a psychiatrist Parent's report of swallowing and feeding problems Age range between 3 to 6 years Ability to understand simple commands and follow instructions based on speech therapist diagnosis Absence of allergies to certain foods based on parent's report Absence of other concurrent treatment programs related to swallowing and feeding problems

Various dimensions of the child's feeding skills such as (oral-sensory, oral-motor, appetite, mother and caregiver concerns, child's mealtime behaviors, strategies used by mother and caregiver, and family response to child feeding). Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 21 and 42 days after the start of the intervention, and 21 days after the end of treatment. Method of measurement: Persian version of The Montreal Children’s Hospital Feeding Scale.;Chewing function. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 21 and 42 days after the start of the intervention, and 21 days after the end of treatment. Method of measurement: Karaduman chewing function scale.;Oral structure and function. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 21 and 42 days after the start of the intervention, and 21 days after the end of treatment. Method of measurement: Robbins and Kelly's Speech-Motor Oral Protocol.;Food variety. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention, 21 and 42 days after the start of the intervention, and 21 days after the end of treatment. Method of measurement: Researcher-made questionnaire.
