Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Obtaining couples' consent Under the care of the thalassemia program at the health center (being thalassemia carriers) No history of undergoing thalassemia diagnostic methods during pregnancy (PND1 or PND2)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Normal couples without thalassemia issues

| The outcome variable in this study is the "intention to undergo prenatal diagnostic testing" among couples who are carriers of thalassemia. It is measured using a researcher-made questionnaire based on the constructs of the Health Belief Model. It is expected that, following the educational intervention, the level of behavioral intention to perform the tests will increase. Timepoint: Before the start of the intervention and two months after the intervention. Method of measurement: The questionnaire is based on the constructs of the Health Belief Model. | — |
