Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Recurrent pleural effusion with dyspnea despite treatment of the underlying disease Age above 18 years Absence of infection in other body organs No suspicion of pleural fluid infection Not having a previous history of pleurisy with another substance Life expectancy after pleurodesis is more than one month In cancer patients, at least 2 weeks have passed since chemotherapy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of anaphylactic reactions to any substance Known thyroid disease Platelets less than 80,000 Infiltration of malignant cells at the catheter site Passing less than a month since the previous pleurodesis on the opposite side
