Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Intubated multiple trauma patients and under mechanical ventilation Admitted in the ICUs of Shahid Mohammadi hospital, Bandar Abbas Informed consent from patients companions Age between minimum 17 years old to maximum 70 years old

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Need for other sedations due to other procedures Need for emergent surgery History of delirium and psychiatric disease Unstable hemodynamics Extubation

Agitation score according to check list. Timepoint: Measuring at 0, 6, 12, 18, 24 hours after receiving the drug. Method of measurement: Richmond agitation-sedation scale.
