Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The entry criteria for each group is total thyroidectomy surgery Normal calcium before surgery (within the normal range of 10.4-8 mg/dl)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients whose preoperative calcium is outside the normal range (outside the range of 8 to 10.4 mg/d). Patients who have previously undergone thyroid lobectomy. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to study drugs. Patients who develop drug reactions following oral calcium and vitamin D intake during hospitalization. Lack of proper cooperation or dissatisfaction of patients during follow-up or at any stage of hospitalization and study. Patients with known cases of osteoporosis and osteopenia, renal failure, and hyperparathyroidism.
