Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children in the age range of 2 to 10 years Having at least one untreated active Superficial carious lesion in primary teeth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children who showed pain due to caries, tooth mobility, or signs of pulp involvement Severe systemic health conditions, known allergy or sensitivity to SDF or silver, hereditary developmental defects Lack of cooperation in the application of SDF or in follow-up visits

MeasureTime frame
Arrest of dental caries. Timepoint: Before the intervention and 3 months after it. Method of measurement: Assessment of the treated lesion using ICDAS tactile criteria (International Caries Detection and Assessment System).;Salivary pH changes before and after intervention. Timepoint: Before intervention and one week after. Method of measurement: Laboratory PH meter.;Parental acceptance rate after intervention with SDF. Timepoint: One week after the intervention. Method of measurement: questionnaire.
