Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age over 18 year Undergoing surgery in a supine position Patients classified as ASA Class 1 and 2 based on their physical condition (regardless of the surgical method). Class 1 patients are generally healthy with no systemic issues, while Class 2 patients have mild systemic diseases such as controlled diabetes and hypertension. Patients undergoing elective general surgery Patients under general anesthesia Duration of surgery longer than 2 hours (measured from the moment of inducing anesthesia for the patient) Patients who stay at least one day in the ward after surgery No pressure ulcers in the sacral and heel areas No history of surgery in the lumbar spine area or chronic lumbar pain No history of skin diseases, vascular diseases, or neuropath No history of drug addiction
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: If, at the discretion of the surgeon and surgical conditions, there is a need to change the patient’s position from supine to other surgical positions during the procedure. patients who require high doses of vasoactive medications due to significant blood loss during surgery Patient dissatisfaction and withdrawal from the study Patients who underwent spinal anesthesia prior to general anesthesia. Surgeries that lasted less than two hours
