Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescent girls in ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades Those with obesity and overweight (BMI equals to 85th percentile or higher)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Taking drugs that affect weight Suffering from depression Suffering from obesity caused by disease or consumption of certain medications such as corticosteroids or obesity caused by hormonal imbalance Following special diets Attending to a regular physical activity program such as a club sports routine or participating in professional competitions Taking nutritional supplements containing protein or multivitamin supplements Having infectious diseases or hospitalized in one month prior to the study
