Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Being Iranian Mastering the Persian language Primiparous Singleton pregnancy Expecting a natural birth Gestational age 37-41 weeks Hospitalization in the latent phase Mothers who can bring a companion to the delivery room
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Mothers who have a history of taking neuropsychiatric drugs Mothers who have a history of depression and mental illnesses during life or before pregnancy Having underlying physical diseases (cardio-respiratory disease, seizures, gestational or obvious diabetes, epilepsy) Mothers with High-risk pregnancies (placental disorders, diabetes, blood pressure, uterine disorders, fetal abnormalities before entering the study) Mothers with babies with anomalies Mothers who are forced to have a cesarean section Participation in childbirth preparation classes
