Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: treatment with systemic melatonin for one month at a dose of 1-2 mg/kg/day. Intervention 2: Control group: Group B will receive routine NICU care and treatments.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Neonates under 32 weeks who are admitted to the NICU department of Al-Zahra Hospital in Tabriz

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: neonate suffer from hypertension associated with hypertension and sometimes temporary therapy Intraventricular cerebral hemorrhage in infants grades 3 and 4 Infants experiencing hydrocephalus and neonatal asphyxia Neonatal Sepsis neonatal hematological disorders such as enterocolitis necrosis

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The extent of retinal damage. Timepoint: From 37 weeks. Method of measurement: by Topcon indirect ophthalmoscope and 2.2 volk lens.
