Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Midwives working in the delivery room of public hospitals in Arak city Minimum educational qualification: Associate degree in midwifery At least one year of work experience in the delivery ward Absence of any mental health issues or use of psychiatric medications No participation in communication skills workshops in the past 6 months Working in rotating shifts Participants must be at least 20 years old and no older than 55 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe mental disorders that require treatment Taking certain medications that interfere with the intervention Pregnancy or breastfeeding, which may affect the results Specific medical conditions that prevent participation in the study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Midwives' communication skill score criteria in both intervention and control groups using the communication skill questionnaire before and after the intervention. Timepoint: Before and immediately after the intervention. Method of measurement: Communication skills questionnaire.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Determining the average score of satisfaction of mothers hospitalized in the post-partum department with the communication skills of midwives in both counseling and control groups (Mothers who will complete the satisfaction questionnaire before the educational intervention will be discharged, so the satisfaction questionnaire will be completed by other mothers who have given birth.). Timepoint: Before and 4 weeks after the intervention. Method of measurement: Childbirth Satisfaction Questionnaire.
