Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Patients receiving 500 mg of metformin naju every 8 hours daily for 12 weeks. Intervention 2: Control group: Patients receiving placebo every 8 hours for 12 weeks.

Inclusion criteria: Metastatic gastrointestinal cancer Age above 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diabetes Taking Metformin in the past year Liver disorders kidney failure
