Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: to patients with acute renal colic in this group, magnesium sulfate is injected with a dose of 2 grams of a 50% solution in a volume of 100 cc along with ketorolac

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with acute renal colic aged 18-60 years and pain intensity between 6 and 10 based on VAS criteria and level of consciousness equal to 15

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or suspicion of pregnancy, history of alcohol addiction, sensitivity to morphine or painkillers, history of mental illness and depression, and recent use of sedatives or antipsychotics and use of calcium channel blockers, history of drug addiction, receiving painkillers within 6 last hour,History of neuromuscular disease and underlying bradycardia (heart rate less than 60) and long QRS interval, history of heart, kidney, liver and metabolic disease, seizures and history of hypotension, abdominal pain and possible peritonitis, failure to sign a consent form and the patient's withdrawal from Continuing to participate in the study, the instability of the patient's clinical condition and pressure drop (systolic pressure less than 90 or pressure drop of 20% of baseline) and heart rate drop to less than 60 and respiratory rate drop to less than 8 during the study.

MeasureTime frame
The outcome variables in this study include the amount of patients' pain in 5, 15, 30, and 45 minutes, as well as the amount of side effects in the groups receiving Ketorlak and Ketorlak with magnesium sulfate. Timepoint: in 5, 15, 30, and 45 minutes. Method of measurement: vas pain score.

Hemodynamic disturbance refers to abnormal changes in blood pressure (systolic pressure less than 90 mmHg or greater than 160 mmHg), cardiac rhythm (number of beats less than 60 or more than 100 per minute), and blood flow that may result from therapeutic intervention. and is evaluated as an outcome variable in this study. Timepoint: Minutes zero, 5, 15, 30, 45. Method of measurement: Hemodynamic disorder is assessed by measuring systolic and diastolic blood pressure using a digital sphygmomanometer, and heart rate using a pulse oximeter or heart monitor. Blood pressure less than 90 mmHg or more than 160 mmHg and heart rate less than 60 or more than 100 beats per minute are considered as cutoffs for diagnosing hemodynamic disorder.
