Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hospitalization in an Iranian psychiatric hospital from all wards (except emergency and addiction wards) Patients should be hospitalized at the beginning of the period (in order to maintain the patients' one-month in-person intervention and neutralize the effects of the routine medications received, patients should be hospitalized at the beginning of the first week) Having sleep quality disturbance based on initial screening (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Score equal to or greater than 5) Age range between 18 and 50 years Being literate Absence of post-traumatic stress syndrome or symptoms or substance abuse Not having any debilitating or stressful physical disorders or illnesses Ability to communicate visually, verbally, and understand Persian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A stressful or unexpected event occurs during study In case of relapse and return to the acute stage of the disease Withdrawal from continuing the study Failure to cooperate during the study (failure to provide appropriate feedback during the implementation of the relaxation program) Failure to participate in more than two non-consecutive sessions or in two consecutive sessions Use of hypnotic drugs (Stat or PRN) other than neuropsychiatric drugs.
