Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of the effectiveness of Vi-One, Alkamen and Misswiake mouthwashes on the color stability of elastic ligature in the oral environment using digital images. Timepoint: After using the above mouthwashes for 4 weeks, the color change of the transparent ligatures is checked. Method of measurement: The ligatures are placed once before being placed in the oral environment, in order to determine the initial color, photographed with a Canon Power Shot SX240 HS camera. All photos are taken in the same environment and light. After that, it is placed in the mouth for 4 weeks and the patient uses mouthwashes and it is removed after the end of this period. The ligatures are first washed with water, dried and kept in a plastic container in a package containing artificial saliva until the time of photography. Then the samples are photographed again and all the photos (both the initial photos and the photos after placement in the mouth) to determine the color of the ligatures using Photoshop software version 4.0.20 (Adobe Photo Shop cc 2019 To evaluate L, a, b parameters, finally, one-way statistical analysis of variance and then Tukey's test are used to compare the desired variable, and the rate of color change of ligatures is checked with SPSS version 22 software.
