MeasureTime frame
The aim is to investigate the effect of oral drug Inderal on reducing bleeding during hysterectomy surgery. Timepoint: . The first group received oral Inderal 20 mg and the second group received placebo 90 minutes before the hysterectomy surgery. Before the operation, 6 and 12 hours after the operation, blood samples will be taken from the patients to determine the hematocrit and hemoglobin, and the amount of bleeding during surgery will also be calculated. Method of measurement: The method of calculating the amount of bleeding during surgery is as follows: each 4x4 inch 8-layer gauze soaked in blood contains 10 milliliters, and each long gauze contains 50 milliliters of blood; So, the number of normal gas soaked in blood is multiplied by 10 milliliters and high gas by 50 milliliters, and the result is added to the amount of blood suctioned. Since this obtained volume includes the volume of washing liquids of the surgical area; The volume of fluids consumed is also subtracted from it and the result is equal to the actual blood loss of the patient.
