Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients who are candidate for general anesthesia with nasal-tracheal intubation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with a history of upper respiratory system disease patients with history of substance abuse patients who may not be extubated after surgery

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pharyngeal pain. Timepoint: immediately and 2, 4, 6, 12, 24 hours after surgery. Method of measurement: visual analogue scale to measure pain.
