Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinical diagnosis of melasma History of non-response to standard oral and topical melasma treatments Individuals aged over 15 years and under 60 years not pregnant or breastfeeding unwillingness to use standard oral and topical melasma treatments

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of any underlying disease or malignancy Receipt of any melasma treatment within the past 3 months History of receiving hormonal therapy

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Modified Melasma Area and Severity Index (mMASI) score. Timepoint: The primary outcome (mMASI score) will be measured at baseline (before the first intervention) and at 4, 8, 12, and 24 weeks after the start of the intervention. Method of measurement: The primary outcome variable, mMASI score, will be measured through clinical examination by a dermatologist using standardized criteria for the modified Melasma Area and Severity Index. Assessments will be based on direct observation and standardized digital photographs taken under consistent lighting conditions.
