Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male smokers (those who have smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their lifetime) They have smoked cigarettes in the last 30 days they are between 20 and 55 years old They have informed consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Current orthodontic treatment Systemic diseases that affect the oral cavity Use of medications or procedures that affect oral conditions Alcohol users or drug addiction and use of other tobacco compounds such as hookah, pipe, etc. They have a history of chemotherapy or radiotherapy They use other complementary medicines Those who use honey daily in their meals

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Unstimulated Salivary Total Antioxidant Capacity. Timepoint: 2 times a day/ before using honey/ 6 hours after using honey. Method of measurement: Unstimulated saliva collection is done with Falcon tubes. Optical absorbance will be read and recorded with the help of ELISA Reader, then using the standard values ??in the kit, the amount of total antioxidant will be calculated for three repetitions and the average will be taken for each sample and the average will be used in statistical tests.
