Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over 18 years old Patients with drug-resistant epilepsy who experience at least 3 seizures per month. According to the latest definition by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE), drug-resistant epilepsy is defined as the failure of at least two appropriate treatments at adequate doses and tolerable levels (whether as monotherapy or combination therapy) to achieve a sustained seizure-free period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of prior statin use Presence of cardiovascular diseases Seizures occurring post-stroke (post-stroke seizures) Liver or kidney diseases Pregnancy and breastfeeding History of cancer
