Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children 2-18 years old diagnosed with type 1 diabetes with the approval of a pediatric endocrinologist and metabolism specialist They are admitted for the first time with symptoms of hyperglycemia or diabetic ketoacidosis Willingness to participate in the study Proficiency in Persian languageReading and writing literacy Having a smart mobile phone with Android or iOS operating system Failure to participate in diabetes training courses or workshops Not having another child with type 1 diabetes

Exclusion criteria: Suffering from other chronic diseases Inability to understand and answer questions Having education related to medical sciences Working as medical staff in hospitals or medical centers

MeasureTime frame
Mothers' knowledge about type 1 diabetes is measured in three areas including signs and symptoms, lifestyle, management and control. Timepoint: During hospitalization and three months after discharge. Method of measurement: A researcher-made questionnaire with 53 items, the scores of this questionnaire vary from 0 to 53. True (2), don't know (1), false (0) Higher scores will indicate a higher level of mothers' knowledge about type 1 diabetes. In this way, obtaining scores of 0-18 indicates low knowledge, scores of 19-36 indicate average knowledge, and scores of 37-53 indicate high knowledge of mothers.;Adherence to the treatment of mothers and adolescents (a person's ability to perform hygienic behaviors including taking medicine, following a diet or making changes in lifestyle). Timepoint: three months after discharge. Method of measurement: Treatment adherence questionnaire (Christensen et al. 2012) with a Likert scale I did not do this at all (score 1) I rarely did this (score 2) I often did this (Score 3) I did this most of the time (Score 4) I always did this (Score 5).;The response to the stress of the child's illness, the cognitive and behavioral response of the person in order to contain, reduce or endure the stressful conditions encountered. Timepoint: three months after discharge. Method of measurement: Answering the stress of the child's illness using a questionnaire (Connor Smith et al. 2000) This questionnaire reflects a conceptual model that includes voluntary coping efforts and involuntary responses to specific stressful events or specific areas of tension. It includes 57 items in 4 areas of coping style: unintentional coping, intentional coping, Unintentional avoidance and intentional avoidance are evaluated.

Glycemic indices. Timepoint: Within three months after discharge. Method of measurement: Glycemic index will be checked using the clinical data form. which includes the following. 1) Glycosylated hemoglobin 3 months after discharge 2) The degree of blood sugar control, which is obtained by recording fasting blood sugar values ??and blood sugar values ??two hours after a meal and the dose of insulin injected in Meals will be reviewed within 3 months after discharge. And according to the doctor's opinion, it will be reported in three ways: "good, relative and weak".
