Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male gender Aged between 7 and 10 years Resident of Yasouj, Iran, and attending elementary school A score below 47 on the Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire (DCDQ'07) A total score at or below the 5th percentile on the Movement Assessment Battery for Children-Second Edition (MABC-2). Motor impairment confirmed by the Persian Motor Observation Questionnaire for Teachers (PMOQ-T) (score below the 16th percentile). Absence of other neurological, physical, or psychological disorders Provision of signed informed consent by a parent or legal guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having a medical condition that prevents safe participation in the intervention. Diagnosis or presence of any other neurological, physical, or psychological disorder (other than DCD). Failure to provide signed informed consent by a parent or legal guardian.

Developmental Coordination Disorder Activities of Daily Living Questionnaire Total Score: This 23-item questionnaire assesses a child’s daily functioning in three main areas: self-care and self-management (10 questions), performing fine motor tasks (7 questions), and recreational activities based on gross motor skills (6 questions). Scoring is based on motor competence (3-point scale), frequency of participation (4-point scale), and difficulty of learning the activities. A higher total score indicates poorer motor performance, less participation, and longer learning time. This instrument is designed to measure changes in functional motor skills in children with DCD. Timepoint: Before the intervention begins (pre-test) - Immediately after the completion of the 8-week intervention period (post-test). Method of measurement: This standardized questionnaire, completed by the child's parent or primary caregiver, is the measurement tool.;Daily sedentary time. Description: This variable measures the average total time (in minutes per day) that a person spends in sitting or lying positions with very low energy expenditure (metabolic equivalent less than 1.5). A decrease in this time indicates a decrease in sedentary behavior. Timepoint: Before the intervention (pre-test)- Immediately after the 8-week intervention period (post-test). Method of measurement: The device is attached to the child's waist and records movement data at a frequency of 80 Hz 24 hours a day for seven consecutive days. The data is analyzed with specialized ActiLife software and the average number of sedentary minutes per day is calculated.;Dietary Behavior Index Score -This index assesses risks associated with dietary behaviors based on responses to 6 questions. The total score ranges from 0 to 24 and is categorized into five risk levels (no risk, low, moderate, high, very high) based on pre-determined cutoff points.
