Intervention 1: Intervention group: In addition to receiving Kligman ointment, one side of the face is randomly treated with a 1550 nm fractional non-ablative laser (Frex Pro) with a spot size of 12 m

18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 60 years Women with moderate to severe melasma (which is confirmed by clinical examination and observation of the extent of the lesions if confirmed) relatively symmetrical that has remained for at least 6 months Patients with Fitzpatrick skin type 2 to 4 Patients with mental health who have the ability to provide information about research Declaration of full consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Active dermatitis in place Unrealistic demands and expectations of treatment History of using isotretinoin in the last 6 months Laser history in the last 3 months (except laser hair removal) Pregnancy and breastfeeding History of keloid History of PIH and facial scarring following cosmetic procedures Treatment for melasma in the last 3 months Presence of vitiligo in self and first degree relatives OCP use in the past three months

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Melasma Area Severity Score (MASI Score). Timepoint: before the intervention, the first month after the intervention, the second month after the intervention, the third month after the intervention, the fourth month after the intervention. Method of measurement: Melasma Area and Severity Index score.
