Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) who are candidates for radioactive iodine treatment after total thyroidectomy Companions of patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) who are candidates for radioactive iodine treatment after total thyroidectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having a previous history of radioiodine therapy

Reserved key knowledge and awareness (remembered). Timepoint: Before the intervention and after the intervention and also at the first follow-up visit. Method of measurement: Multiple-choice questionnaire to assess the level of reserved knowledge and awareness (remembered) in three sections: preparations before treatment, activities during hospitalization and follow-ups and care after treatment.;The scale of satisfaction and perceived usefulness (the patient's perception of the usefulness from the patient education process). Timepoint: At the end of the study. Method of measurement: Satisfaction and perceived usefulness questionnaire on the Likert scale.;Scale of patient's objective performance. Timepoint: Before the intervention and after the intervention, as well as at the first follow-up visit. Method of measurement: A Likert scale questionnaire of the patient's objective performance level from the point of view of the health care providers in three sections; preparations before treatment, activities during hospitalization and follow-ups and care after treatment.
