Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Absence of anomalies Absence of congenital infections Newborns with a gestational age of 37-42 weeks Newborns weighing 2500-4000 grams Apgar score between 7 and 10 in the first minute after birth Apgar score between 7 and 10 in the fifth minute after birth Indirect hyperbilirubinemia in 24 hours or more after birth Bilirubin level 12-20 mg/dL Breastfeeding Jaundice in the first week after birth Non-hemolytic jaundice Absence of contraindications to massage Absence of restrictions on bathing Absence of restrictions on massaging the baby Absence of any medication by the mother Absence of gastrointestinal disease Absence of infections
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. G6PD deficiency Positive direct Coombs test Jaundice requiring blood exchange Treatment with intravenous fluids, antibiotics, or oxygen therapy Giving medications such as milk thistle drops or clofibrate capsules to reduce bilirubin Hypothermia with an axillary temperature of less than 36.5 degrees Celsius Smoking, alcohol, or drug use by the mother during pregnancy and after delivery History of skin allergies in family members Any allergy to chicory extract in the infant Increase in bilirubin levels during treatment to more than 20 mg/dL Dubin-Johnson and Gilbert syndrome Parental unwillingness to continue treatment Discharge or death of the infant
