Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: An addicted client with addiction record for at least 12 moths One of the family members (spouse, children, parents, sibling) of a client addicted to opioids and their derivatives Having informed consent Being literate Age 18 – 60 years old No history of mental and cognitive disorders

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Family members of clients addicted to opioids and their derivatives withdraw from the study for any reason Family members are not able to perform teaching plan due to physical, mental, economical and commutation challenges resulting from having an addicted person in the family Suffering from acute and critical attack of disease like such as panic, mental problems and suicidal ideation etc. Being absentee more than two sessions in the teaching session
