Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age 25 years or older Physician-diagnosed pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) Persistent symptoms of PFD for more than 3 months Ability and willingness to adhere to the prescribed diet Provide written informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: pregnancy or breastfeeding Active or severe gastrointestinal disease (e.g. Irritable bowel disease, active peptic ulcer, etc.) Recent pelvic surgery Use of medications affecting bowel movements or pelvic floor muscles in the past three months Participation in other nutritional interventions in the past six months Presence of severe food sensitivities or dietary restrictions that prevent adherence to the Mediterranean or Low FODMAP (Limiting all fermentable carbohydrates)diet Unwillingness or inability to comply with the diet or monthly follow-ups
