Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age over 18 years Confirmed diagnosis of functional dyspepsia based on ROME IV criteria Negative H. pylori test Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 22

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having diabetes mellitus Having cardiovascular diseases Inability to adhere to the assigned dietary protocol History of major gastrointestinal surgeries (e.g., gastric bypass) Use of medications affecting gastrointestinal function (e.g., prokinetics or tricyclic antidepressants) in recent weeks Pregnancy or breastfeeding

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Body mass index. Timepoint: Before intervention and 3 months after intervention. Method of measurement: Height-to-weight ratio formula.;Functional dyspepsia symptoms. Timepoint: Before intervention and 3 months after intervention. Method of measurement: GSRS questionnaire.
