Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Donor skin is harvested from the patient (second-degree donor is superficial) Hospitalization in the first 24 hours of burn at this center Total body surface area between 15% and 60%
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Sepsis Uncontrolled diabetes Asthma and respiratory problems (requiring corticosteroids during hospitalization) Autoimmune disorder History of skin sensitivity GCS below 7 Previous burn wound treatment Previous burn injury in the same area Electrical burns Use of medications that have a negative or positive effect on the wound healing process (corticosteroids) Inhalation burns (requiring corticosteroids) Underlying disease
